CyberSecurity

In the realm of cybersecurity, I serve as both the architect and the sentry, building robust defenses that protect your clients' most valuable digital assets. My approach moves beyond simple antivirus software; it’s about creating a layered defense-in-depth strategy that anticipates threats before they manifest. I focus on hardening the entire infrastructure—from securing endpoints and encrypting sensitive data to managing identity through zero-trust frameworks. By aligning their security posture with industry standards like NIST or CIS, I ensure that security isn't just a barrier, but a foundational element of their operational resilience.

Cybersecurity is a moving target, so I emphasize proactive vigilance and a culture of "security first." This involves continuous monitoring for vulnerabilities, implementing automated threat detection, and conducting regular risk assessments to stay ahead of bad actors. Just as importantly, I tackle the human element through security awareness training, turning employees from a potential liability into a primary line of defense. My goal is to provide clients with the peace of mind that their reputation and data are shielded, allowing them to focus on growth without the looming fear of a breach.

Core Security Pillars

  • Threat Intelligence: Real-time monitoring and rapid incident response to mitigate active attacks.

  • Identity Management: Implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) and Conditional Access to ensure only the right people have entry.

  • Vulnerability Management: Regular patching, auditing, and penetration testing to close security gaps.

  • Compliance & Governance: Ensuring all systems meet legal and regulatory requirements (like GDPR or HIPAA).

Case Study

Using the platform Action1 I was able to get a view of the patch & vulnerability status across a client's devices in minutes.  Working with the client on a low impact patch management schedule to ensure compliance (helping with Cyber Essentials) and the lowest user impact.
